On December 25, 2016, Guangjin Construction Angola Branch successfully signed a power project contract with China Water Resources and Hydropower Construction Corporation to contract part of the project of electrification and household connection project of China Power Construction Angola Luanda Province.
The Luanda Province Electrification and Household Connection Project is located in Luanda, the capital of Angola, and is an EPC general contract for the construction of China Power Construction and the National Power Distribution Company of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Angola, including design, construction, supply, installation and commissioning.The main work includes 60KV substation, 60KV transmission line, urban low-voltage distribution network and power household connection, pre-paid meter installation, etc. The total amount of the project is 675 million US dollars.After the project is completed, it can meet the electricity demand of 20% of the population of Angola, greatly improve the current situation of the shortage of distribution network in Luanda, improve the quality of life of the people, and further promote the social and economic development of Angola.The installation of prepaid meters will enable the national distribution company to have a stable income, which will drive the rapid development of Luanda's urban power grid and benefit more Luanda people.
The projects undertaken by our company are mainly high-voltage and medium-low voltage power transmission and transformation projects, including some high and low voltage overhead transmission lines, electricity meter households, transformer construction, etc. The project construction period is 2 years.After the contract was signed, the Group's Angola branch was actively deployed to concentrate on ensuring that the current construction work was completed quickly and easily.
At 9:00 on December 30, 2016 local time, witnessed by members of the Angolan government, media and project staff, Guangjin International Group Angola Construction Company held a groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site and set up the first wire on the same day.
