Angola exported 1.09 million tons of natural gas and 97870 barrels of crude oil in the first quarter of this year, and China continued to rank first in the proportion of imports from them. According to statistics, natural gas imports accounted for 31.54% and oil accounted for 70.14%.
Of the natural gas exported from Angola, 80.94% is liquefied natural gas (LNG), 12.58% is propane gas and 3.12% is condensate gas.
According to the product export data provided by the statistics department, the export weighted price of LNG is 431.33 USD/TM, butane gas is 400.86 USD/TM, and propane is 402.77 USD/TM. The condensate gas is 537.47 USD/TM.
In March of this year, natural gas production was 84.573 billion cubic feet, equivalent to an average of 2.728 billion cubic feet per day.
Also according to statistics from the Department of Statistics, in the first quarter of 2021, Angola’s crude oil exports were 97.8 million barrels with a cash flow of US$6.03 billion, a decrease of 5.96% from the previous quarter.
China continues to be the main destination of Angolan oil, accounting for 70.14% of total exports, followed by India (8.61%), Singapore (4.85), France (1.01%), and Italy (0.97%).
