On March 29, 2023, I embarked on a journey to a foreign country. The first time I went abroad, my heart was full of expectation and apprehension, the expectation of a strange country, the apprehension of whether I could adapt.

The high-speed train departs from Zhengzhou and heads to Shanghai along the Zheng-Xu High Speed Railway. The Zheng-Xu high-speed railway is an important part of China's eight vertical and eight horizontal lines, and it also makes up my childhood memories. This high-speed railway line passes behind the village where I grew up and crosses over my family's wheat field, so when the high-speed railway was about to pass through the village that I knew best, I raised my cell phone in the hope of recording that moment.

Watching the familiar wheat fields and roads flash quickly past the car window, I pressed shutter after shutter, and well! I got that expected shot of the village and the house. Putting down my cell phone, all I could think of was " - over the house". When I was a child, I had fantasized when I was helping my parents in the wheat field that when I grew up, I would take this high speed train and get off when I arrived at the village. When the train really drove through here, of course, I couldn't get off the train, but the thought of home leaped from the carriage into the wheat field.

I kept my eyes out the window during the six-hour drive from Zhengzhou to Shanghai, from North China to North Jiangsu to the Yangtze River Delta.

The first time I came to Shanghai was at the end of 2019, taking advantage of the winter vacation into the electronics factory to work, and then encountered the epidemic, did not go to feel the charm of the magic city in the panic of the epidemic back home, and this time to come to Shanghai again, and again in order to go to a more distant place. I am doomed to lose touch with the Magic City, what about the future ......

Finally boarded the plane in the early hours of the morning, it was already drizzling outside, the rain sailed inexorably through the porthole, in the reflection of the airport headlights have a little beauty, habitually recorded the scene with a cell phone.

Airbus A350, the space is very spacious, more than half of the plane are nationals, so I have a kind of feeling in the domestic flights, but more still feel that there are really a lot of nationals working outside, everyone is really very difficult.

Ethiopian Airlines' pre-takeoff music is full of African flavor, as if it's already previewing the African life that is about to begin. The moment the airplane's engine thrust was pulled up to full capacity, the same sense of pushback from time was felt. As I watched the lights on the ground fade away, I turned on the seat screen, which charted the route from north to south and east to west.

Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, the whole city is located in a plateau basin, from the plane to see all kinds of high-rise buildings, the feeling is not quite the same as the impression of Africa, the degree of modernization is still very high. Boraie International Airport, where you have to take off your shoes when you go through the security check during the transit flights, plus the not-so-good ventilation system makes the whole security hall smell not so good. However, as an important international hub, you can see people of different colors, from various cultural backgrounds speaking various languages.

Taking off from Eze and heading south, the landscape behind you makes it feel like it's not Africa, with no desert, rolling mountains and flat plateaus with white clouds reflecting off the ground.

Arrived at Lusaka airport, which is named after the first president of Zambia and an old friend of Chinese people - Kenneth Kaunda. The airport is constructed by Chinese enterprises, and the nearby supporting buildings are all constructed by Chinese enterprises, which gives people a very comfortable feeling, Chinese infrastructure YYDS.

Having been in Zambia for more than 4 months, I have felt the difference between life overseas and at home, but within the Chinese community, everyone still maintains the same habits as at home. There is no code payment, no online shopping, and the pace of life feels slower.

Every country needs a process to develop

Seize the opportunity of development to have a great future

I believe Zambia's future development will be better and better.
