Project updates are coming in thick and fast
With the efforts of the project department, the Cuito Administrative Infrastructure Construction Project, built by Guangjin Construction (Angola) Co., Ltd, has made the following progress: the foundation raft slab of the B3 office building and all 128 columns on the first floor have been completed, the roof slab of the first floor of the 1-8 axes has been completed, the foundation of the water supply tank has been completed, the roof slab of the T1 technical room has been completed, and the reinforcement tying of the sloped roof has begun. At present, the project has all the conditions to enter the second phase.

Located in Cuito City, Bié Province, Angola, the project covers an area of 22,500 square meters, with a construction area of 6,500 square meters, and the main construction content includes B3 office building, T1 technical room and outdoor works; of which, the B3 office building has a height of 14 meters, a two-story frame structure, with a construction area of 6,230 square meters; the T1 technical room has a height of 6.7 meters, a one-story frame structure, with a construction area of 270 square meters; The outdoor works include outdoor road works, greening works, pipe network works and other ancillary works such as fence works.

As a landmark project of the local government, the Cuito City Administrative Infrastructure Project has been highly valued by the local government and the community. Since the start of the project in May 2023, the project team has overcome various difficulties in technical, quality and commercial aspects in order to promote the efficient operation of the project.
Through several in-depth discussions, the project department has formulated a practical program to solve the important difficulties encountered in the early stage of the project. On the basis of ensuring the safety performance and usability of the building, according to the project design drawings, the depth excavation completed 8 important optimization designs, and the project has completed the good situation of T1 top slab pouring, which has laid a solid foundation for the smooth performance of the project.
