On September 7, the first school 101#, the Iraqi model school of the aid project participated by Guangjin Iraq Company, welcomed the preliminary acceptance. The Iraqi Owners Committee and relevant leaders of CECC visited the site to conduct a comprehensive inspection and assessment of the project. The acceptance is aimed at ensuring that the construction quality of the school complies with the contract requirements and meets the standards of international construction norms, so as to provide a solid guarantee for local education.
The acceptance team assessed in detail the structural safety, functional configuration and environmental layout of the campus buildings, and the seismic capacity of the teaching buildings, the stability of the power supply system, the drainage and greening facilities of the campus became the key objects of this assessment. This acceptance is not only the first test of our project results, but also an important consideration for us to fulfill our international responsibility and deepen bilateral cooperation.
During the acceptance work, the leaders of the Owner's Committee and CECC highly recognized the overall construction quality of the project. At the same time, the acceptance team also paid special attention to the safety and environmental protection management during the construction process. All parties were unanimous in their desire to ensure that the school would be delivered and put into operation with a high standard of facilities and conditions to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for the youth of Iraq. The team also made valuable suggestions for future maintenance and management, such as further optimizing the facility management system, strengthening the training of the local construction team, further enhancing the awareness of environmental protection, and at the same time accelerating the layout of the surrounding infrastructure in order to enhance the overall appearance of the school, with a view to treating the 101# school as an exemplary construction benchmark in the Chibayish area.
The valuable suggestions and detailed issues raised by the Owner's Committee and the leaders of CEC in the preliminary acceptance work of School 101# will be solved one by one to ensure the successful completion of the task before the next final acceptance. This handover and acceptance is not only an affirmation of the quality of the Iraqi company's project, but also a major breakthrough for the Group in the execution of projects in the Middle East. The successful completion of our first Iraqi-aided school highlights the Iraqi team's ability to efficiently complete tasks under complex environments. In the future, we will leverage on this experience to promote our technology and services to other Middle Eastern countries to further expand our market.
