On October 24, Mr. Chen Jiazhong, chairman of the Board of Directors of Guangjin International Group, Mr. Li Chenguo, general manager of Angola Construction Company, and Mr. Cui Shichang, deputy general manager of Angola New Business Company, traveled to Cunene province to inspect the construction of Angola Construction Company's drought relief project in Cunene and to meet with the vice-governor of the province, Mr. Antonio Gilberto Augusto Matias.
The chairman of the board expressed his gratitude to Governor Antonio Gilberto Augusto Matias for his warm reception and briefly introduced the basic situation and development strategy of the Group. The chairman of the board of directors said that the Group has been actively involved in infrastructure construction in Africa for more than ten years by adhering to the international development strategy, and has participated in the construction of dozens of key projects in Angola, with rich practical experience and engineering performance. The governor introduced in detail the economic development situation, resource advantages and future development plan of Cunene province. The governor said that Guangjin Angola has made important contributions to the development of infrastructure construction in Cunene province which involves the people's livelihood, and welcomed more excellent Chinese enterprises like Guangjin to participate in the project and jointly promote the local economic development.
During this visit, the two sides discussed the cooperation between Guangjin Group and Cunene Province in various fields such as infrastructure construction, agriculture and energy development, which enhanced the understanding and friendship between the two sides, and provided more opportunities and platforms for subsequent cooperation.

On that day, the chairman of the board of directors and his entourage went deep into the drought-resistant aqueduct project in the province of Cunene, inspected the construction situation of the project on the spot, listened to the report of the project leader on the next step of the aqueduct project's work plan, quality control and safety production, and emphasized on understanding the problems and difficulties encountered in the process of construction. For the difficulties and key work in the construction process, the chairman of the board of directors instructed: to strengthen internal and external coordination and communication, close cooperation, and active deployment of resources to ensure the smooth progress of the project. The chairman of the board emphasized that the aqueduct project is an important livelihood project in Cunene Province, which should pay close attention to the climate change, rationally arrange the construction progress, strictly abide by the construction specifications, and strengthen the on-site management, so as to ensure that the project can be completed and put into use as early as possible.
