On March 28, 2025 local time, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the main structure of the M building of the Américo Hospital, which was constructed with the participation of Guangjin Angola Construction Company Limited (GACC), was formally topped out, marking the major milestone of another livelihood project.

Located in Luanda, the capital of Angola, the Américo Hospital project covers a total area of 4,000 square meters, with four floors, including outpatient clinic, inpatient department, emergency center, operating room, laboratory and other auxiliary medical facilities. After the completion of the project, it will significantly improve the level of local medical infrastructure, strongly alleviate the tension of medical resources in Luanda and the surrounding areas, and provide more modern and efficient medical services for the residents.
As a key livelihood project in Angola, Américo Hospital not only carries the important task of upgrading the country's healthcare level, but also holds the Angolan people's high expectation for better and more efficient healthcare services. From the planning to the construction progress, the project has received great attention from the president and all levels of government, and on March 22nd, 2025, the president of Angola, Mr. Lourenço, visited the project site in person, fully affirmed the progress and construction quality, and emphasized the significance of the project in improving the national healthcare system.

During the construction of the project, Guangjin Angola cooperated with all parties and strictly followed the project quality standards and safety management norms to ensure that the project was carried out in an efficient and orderly manner. In the face of various challenges during the construction process, the project team, with rich experience and technical strength, overcame the problems one by one to ensure the smooth implementation of the project as planned. The project has not only created a large number of local employment opportunities, but also fully realized the spirit of Sino-Annex cooperation.
The successful topping out of the main structure of the M building of the hospital project marks a new stage in the construction of the project, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of water and electricity, medical equipment and internal decoration. At present, the second floor of the project is carrying out the secondary structure construction, and the first floor of the water and electricity pre-burial project is advancing simultaneously. GJ Angola will continue to uphold the concept of “quality first, safety first” to ensure that the project will be delivered on schedule and add new highlights to the friendly cooperation between China and Angola.
