On June 25, Angola time, in order to actively respond to the call for the 24th National Work Safety Month in 2025, and to further implement the theme of “Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows emergency response”, the Eighth Group of Angola Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce, guided by the Embassy, organized a two-day joint work safety inspection for its member units. Under the guidance of the Embassy, the Eighth Group of Angola Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce organized its members to carry out a two-day joint inspection of production safety. As one of the members of the group, Guangjin International Group, together with China Railway Bureau 20 Angola Branch, China Railway Bureau 17 Electric Company, Yuxing Group, Ruiran International, and Golden Nest International Angola Branch, formed an inspection team to comprehensively strengthen the safety management level of the Chinese enterprises in Angola by means of cross-checking and scoring rectification.
The inspection was strictly based on the Group's production safety regulations and Chamber of Commerce standards, and centered on five core areas:
Production safety: focusing on checking each unit's safety management system, civilized norms at construction sites, implementation of protective measures, electrical compliance and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
Fire safety: checking the management of warehouse bases and the configuration of fire-fighting equipment on a case-by-case basis;
Security safety: assessing the effectiveness of security plans, on-site security measures and the practicality of emergency plans;
Transportation safety: verification of vehicle maintenance records, driver training files and outgoing dynamic monitoring mechanism;
Health and epidemic prevention: comprehensively check the records of elimination, food storage norms and the implementation of health promotion in the office area, living area, canteen and dormitory.
The inspection team quantitatively rated each unit through on-site visits, data sampling and staff interviews, and provided on-site feedback on the list of problems, requesting immediate corrections.
The joint inspection is not only a test of compliance, but also an important opportunity for synergy among Chinese enterprises. The member units expressed that they should take a “zero tolerance” attitude towards hidden dangers to ensure the stability of their overseas operations.
During the inspection, Guangjin Angola shared its experience in standardization of production safety and regularization of emergency drills, and listened to the optimization suggestions of other member units, and will take this inspection as an opportunity to further strengthen the safety responsibility of all staff, and continue to practice the concept of “life first, safety first”, in order to build a peaceful Overseas escort.
