On March 8, 2026, at the invitation of Guangjin Angola Construction Company, a government delegation led by Crispiniano Dos Santos, Governor of the Moxico Province in Angola, along with the Director of the Provincial Office and other officials, visited Guangjin Group’s Angola subsidiary for an inspection and guidance. The delegation was accompanied throughout the visit and participated in discussions with a senior management team from the Group, including Chairman Chen Jiazhong; General Manager Li Xianguo of the Angola Construction Company; Commercial General Manager Chen Jiafeng; General Manager Chen Shengheng of the Automobile Trading Company; General Manager Zhang Haichang of the General Trading Company; and Executive Deputy General Manager Cui Shichang.
The delegation visited the Angolan company’s headquarters, its automotive dealership, the construction company’s logistics and warehousing center, and the joint-venture pipe manufacturing plant, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Group’s industrial layout, operational management, project delivery, and localization efforts in Angola.
In the automotive trade exhibition area, the delegation closely inspected key models such as commercial pickup trucks, MG passenger cars, passenger buses, and construction vehicles. They gained an in-depth understanding of the localization achievements of each brand and spoke highly of Guangjin Group’s diversified automotive industry chain layout.
At the same time, the delegation led by the Governor of Moxico Province fully affirmed the Guangjin team’s professional expertise and comprehensive capabilities in the field of engineering construction. They noted that the Angola subsidiary’s mature construction management system, efficient resource coordination capabilities, and full-chain service advantages could provide significant support for Moxico Province’s infrastructure development and industrialization process. They also expressed full recognition of the Angola Company’s initiatives to actively engage in local industrial development and support local industrial upgrading, praising Guangjin Angola for putting the spirit of China-Angola friendly cooperation into practice through concrete actions.
Subsequently, the two sides held a symposium. Crispiniano Dos Santos, Governor of the Province of Moçambique Oriental, provided a detailed overview of the province’s development plan, highlighting the prospects for the development of mining resources, modern agriculture, and the cultural and tourism industries. He also extended a sincere invitation to Guangjin Angola to actively participate in the development of key local industries and infrastructure construction. Group Chairman Chen Jiazhong, drawing on Guangjin Angola’s operational foundation and industrial strengths, proposed practical and actionable ideas tailored to local conditions regarding key issues such as the company’s investment strategy in Leste Moçambique Province and the deepening of localized cooperation. Both sides reached a broad consensus on deepening pragmatic cooperation across multiple sectors, supporting the diversification of Angola’s local economy, and promoting local economic development, thereby laying a solid foundation for the implementation of future cooperation.
This visit not only represents an important step by Guangjin Group in responding to Angola’s national development strategy and aligning with the local government’s cooperation needs, but also serves as a full affirmation of the comprehensive operational achievements of Guangjin Angola.
