Recently, Guangjin Angola announced some exciting news: it has successfully won the tender for the construction project of the Mavanga Hospital in Kubango Province, Angola. This represents yet another significant breakthrough for the Group as it deepens its presence in the African market and expands into the field of overseas healthcare infrastructure, marking a solid step forward in its international development strategy.

One hospital, one community. The Mawenga Hospital project is a key public welfare initiative in Angola. Located in the Mawenga district of Kubango Province, it covers a total site area of approximately 110,000 square metres, with a planned capacity of 203 beds and a total floor area of 23,380.10 square metres. As a crucial component of the local public health system, the project, once completed, will significantly enhance regional healthcare capacity, tangibly improve access to medical care for the public, address the shortage of high-quality medical resources, and provide robust support for the development of the local public health security system.
Deepening our presence in Africa, reaping further rewards. In recent years, Guangjin Group has actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative, focusing its efforts on the infrastructure and public welfare sectors in Africa. Thanks to comprehensive technical solutions, a scientific and precise cost control system, and years of accumulated experience in localised project execution, the Group has repeatedly distinguished itself in international tenders. This successful bid not only represents the client’s high recognition of the Group’s comprehensive strength, technical expertise and ability to deliver on commitments, but also further consolidates Guangjin’s brand influence in the African engineering and construction market.

Fully equipped and forward-thinking in layout. The project adopts a modern design style with a scientific division of functional zones, encompassing core medical facilities and supporting services. The main hospital building is equipped with advanced clinical areas and serves as the primary centre for medical treatment; the ancillary buildings, designed in a style consistent with the main building, further enhance the medical support facilities. The project includes the simultaneous construction of residential quarters for medical staff and family accommodation, fully equipped to meet the living needs of healthcare professionals. Furthermore, additional ancillary buildings are planned, collectively forming a modern integrated campus combining ‘medical services, living support and logistical facilities’. In the future, this site is set to become a modern, comprehensive medical service centre within the region, offering comprehensive facilities and an excellent environment.
Crafted with dedication, living up to the trust placed in us. Regarding the subsequent construction phase, a representative from the Guangjin team stated: “The Mawenga Hospital project is not merely a medical infrastructure project, but a public welfare initiative that directly impacts the health and well-being of the local community.” The company will adhere to its core principles of “quality as our foundation and integrity in fulfilling our commitments”. Drawing on its extensive experience in overseas construction, it will undertake high-standard planning and rigorous construction, exercising comprehensive control over safety, quality and progress, and is committed to making Mawenga Hospital a modern, exemplary project of the highest calibre that benefits the local community.
